| Program or Service | Entrepreneurs with Disabilities Program (EDP) The mandate of this program is to provide business services to assist persons with disabilities or health conditions who locate their business outside of the City of Winnipeg. The staff at Community Futures offices offer business services including; one to one business counselling, business plan development, referral to business training, and access to a business coach/mentor. All Community Futures offices can provide small and medium sized businesses loans not normally offered by financial institutions to entrepreneurs with viable business ideas. Community Futures Organizations are members of the Canada/Manitoba Business Service Centre's network of satellite sites. Community Futures offices have on-site business resource libraries and computer workstations with access to the C/MBSC's host of on-line research and business planning tools. Many Community Futures offices also offer business training via video conferencing. |
