The workshop is designed for new entrepreneurs but also provides valuable information for those currently operating a business.
The first day of the workshop covers the advantages and disadvantages of going into business, forms of business organization, resources available to small businesses, and the components of a business plan.
The second day covers accounting, bookkeeping, financial statements, GST and financial management.
Day three includes business management, marketing/advertising, pricing and distribution. Class times are from 9:00 am - 4:30 pm unless otherwise noted.
